Wednesdays Aren’t Just for Working

Spring is here, and the season to sit on a patio and breathe in the new life is the only thought running through everyone’s mind. Fortunately for Fayetteville, we are bringing new events on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Paddy’s patio to help get you through the week.
BEERS & BRACELETS every 2nd Wednesday featuring regional artisans who teach us how to make cool bracelets and/or link us up with permanent jewelry while sipping on your favorite brews. The 3rd Wednesdays are reserved for SIP & PAINT classes, and on April 17th we will have a POTTERY edition. Yes, Kelly from Greg’s Pottery will be here on our patio with choices of pottery for you to paint. Afterwards, she will take it to her studio and kiln-fire it, and you’ll be able to pick up your masterpiece from her the next week! THE TIPSY GARDENER workshop series is every 4th Wednesday of the month on the patio featuring a variety of local farmers, nurseries, florists, horticulturist groups, expert plantsmen, and more! Green thumb or black thumb, you’ll want to take this fun and creative gardening workshop! April 24th Karen Graham, my mom, from the Grays Creek Woman’s Club will be teaching us how to plant, care and use 3 types of herbs.
We are excited to bring back FAYETTEVILLE ART ATTACK in the Church at Paddy’s with Shawn Adkins from Back Around Records encompassing and showcasing ART of all genres (visual, performance, dance, music, poetry, photography, film, comedians, DJs, etc.). It is Fayetteville’s meet-up of artistic, like-minded individuals from around town to throwdown some art and show off every Wednesday. This is scheduled to start Wednesday, May 1st at 8pm-until. Open to all ages anyone under 21 MUST be accompanied by a 21 or older person.
Paddy has hired me to be the start of his street team! I am looking forward to going out and about around Fayetteville, connecting the community through events and partnerships, all while promoting my favorite pub in town. Please make sure to stop and say hi weekly during trivia too! I’m still working the gray matter on Fridays and handing out cash prizes! Until we see each other again.
